Holiday Reading Essentials

Having my first holiday reading done today.

Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage

by Haruki Murakami.

One of my favourite writer ever since. His writings are simple and meaningful, from what i have read his type of writings are mostly about a lonely person who lives in a cruel world and he/she just wanted to disappear from this world.

So, the colorless life is such an amazing story, but it is not on top of my all time favourite books. It tells about friendship, love, and etc. But the story dominantly talk about a true friendship, a group of 5 high school student who gets along together but at the end they have to accept the truth that they have to go their own different path. As i read the book, just like what Mr. Murakami usually do, there are lots of inspiring quotes in it. The story shows lots of emotion, the way Murakami describe how lonely Tsukuru (the main character) is, truly informational.

Here's another information about the book
An instant #1 New York Times Bestseller, Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage is the remarkable story of a young man haunted by a great loss; of dreams and nightmares that have unintended consequences for the world around us; and of a journey into the past that is necessary to mend the present. Here Haruki Murakami—one of the most revered voices in literature today—gives us a story of love, friendship, and heartbreak for the ages.

So, do you mind checking out the book? and now i am continue reading new book, 'the Catcher in the Rye' by J.D Salinger. It's such an interesting book too, i really am enjoy reading fiction over again recently so here's the picture of the books that lays in my bed.
