Well hi!
As you know, today is the second day of my final semester exam in senior high, i should be studying right now, BUT
i can't help it, i really wanted to tell you guys about something that really really amazed me over these past few weeks.
So, on sunday november 22nd, me and my friend went to University of Indonesia. It is located in Depok. We went there to attend one-of-the-every-highschool-students-waiting-for, yes obviously, it is "Teknik Open House," i heard this is the first time they make this kind of events, well as you might see, the other faculty already done it since a long time ago. So lets continue talking about my experience going to the Univeristy of Indonesia.
I quiet wanted to go there just to walk around and chill but i have no right time and have no one to go there with, so i feel super excited that time. We decided to go there by taking the train because one of many factors, and i feel super duper mega excited because i never took train ever in my life a.k.a that was the first time i am taking the train!
It was about 7 o'clock we pumped out into the train, and voila! i thought we should wait longer for the train to come but i was wrong, the train already stood there, seem like it was waiting for me to jump into the train lol kidding. So, it only took about approximately 20 minutes to arrived at Univ. Indonesia Station from Kalibata. and when we got there, we were confused about how we catch up into 'Jembatan Teksas', jembatan teksas connecting the FIB and Teknik so it's easier to get there without walking around UI, because in my experience walking in about more or less 3 kilometres, YOU WILL DIE. I walked from the train station into the FT which means 'dari ujung ke ujung kaki udah copot' because of my ke-sok-tau-an. Please mark my word people, don't ever do that, if this is the first time you went here just like me, just took the ojek or bikun and it'll be better if you bring your own car, please underline my word, don't walk that far.
Our planning was arriving in FT before 8 o'clock so we could take a rest for a little bit longer but it was all out of the plan, we arrived there at 8.20 o'clock and everyone lined up already and they all look so fine, so fresh, smells so good, and THEY DONT LOOK RESTLESS, unlike us. BUT i have no regrets walking around UI, it was quite fun though. The open house ended at 11 o'clock, so we decided to took a rest in front of the library, it was huge and the view is so beautiful, i captured this, these are the photos i took from the trip we had from the University of Indonesia, (i actually hoped to took all these pics by my analogue but i still haven't bought the film so yeah...
